    Manali Attraction - Manu Temple Manali

    Manu Temple is located in the old Manali and 3 Kms from the main market and dedicated to the sage Manu. It believed that sage Manu was the creator of the world and the writer of Manusmriti. It is one of the main tourist attractions and the location of the temple has made it even more famous between tourist. Location of this temple gives the charming views of bank side of river Beas. People believed that Manu meditated at this place in Manali after subsequent to the inundation on earth.

    History
    Hindu mythology says that Manu saint who was the originator of the world and who wrote Manusmriti. So in memory of Manu saint a temple was buit in this region where sage stay and meditated. In year 1992 temple was rebuilt and there vaulted ceiling and marble floors also added.

    It considered Manu Temple Manali is only Manu temple in the world and most of the foreigners and  local people come to see this temple and offer prayers at a regular basis

    Temple Rules
    To enter in this temple visitors are required to wear knee and shoulder covering dresses. There is one slippery stone paths that lies before the temple premises to reach the temple.
