Kunal Pathri Temple is situated in small town Kunal Pathri close to Dharamsala. Main attraction of Kunal Pathri is Mata Kunal Pathri Temple. This temple is dedicated to local Goddess Kalpeshwari (an incarnation of Goddess Sati). It is fantastic place to have a natural walk and enclosed by dense tea gardens. About Temple
The temple is created of rocks and so that it is also known as the stone temple. Interesting things of this temple is that, there is a stone near the temple that remains wet all the time.
History
It believed that the skull of Goddess Sati fell here so that temple is constructed on the site. According to hindu Mythology, Goddess Sati was furious over the behavior of her father's towards her husband Lord Shiva, she jumped into the fire where she was fragmented into many pieces.
