    Manali Attraction - Vashist Hot Water Springs and Temple

    Vashist Hot Water Spring is one of the famous attractions in Manali, Kullu district in state of Himachal Pradesh. It is also known as "Vashisht Baths". It is 3 Kms from downtown Manali.  Vashist springs and temple in a tiny hamlet situated on the bank of Beas river that turns towards Rohtang. It is a hot water sulphur springs that are amply found in this region and come out of the granitic deposits cover a huge part of the Himalayas in this area. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashisht Muni. Vashisht village has a bath complex with a restaurant. Sunken bath is that place where you can found the warm water and bath it and relieve your weary nerves.


    Temple Vashistha has 2 springs flowing below the temple and is free to use, but they can get dirty.

    Here is a bath complex that pipes hot water from the natural sulphur springs. Taking a holy dip in this water is considered sacred by many.

    Temperature is vary between 110 degree Fahrenheit and 123 degree Fahrenheit of this hot water springs

    For ladies and gentlemen there are separate bathrooms, fitted with Turkish-style showers.
