Palampur Tourist Attraction : Sherbling Palampur

Palampur, a town in the state is famous for holding various colossal Buddhist Vihar. Sherbling is famous for colossal Buddhist vicars and monastery. Sherbling is set in the midst of majestic hills of Palampur.

Tai Siti Rimpoche was one of the well-known Buddhist preacher and lived in Buddhist centre amidst the beautiful mountains. Rimpoche was a much respected figure of the Buddhist sect.The giant stupa-like structures offer a spectacular view with lush greenery all around. Each afternoon Rimpoche or the head monk gives his darshan to the visitors.

Sherbling is visited by solace seekers and Buddhist pilgrims throughout the year. Apart from locals, a lot of tourists also come here to seek blessings from the monks.
