    About Wildlife sanctuary 
    The name of this sanctuary is drived from the Kumbhalgarh Fort. Kumbhalgarh wildlife sanctuary extends across the Aravalli Range, covering parts of Rajsamand, Udaipur, and Pali districts. This sanctuary spread more than an area of 578 sq. kms area. Main features of this sanctuary is a bewildering array of wildlife species like leopards, sloth bear, hyena, wolf, jungle cat, jackal, hare, nilgai as well as the four horned antelope all of which helps make Kumbhalgarh any wildlife enthusiasts dream come true.

    Kumbhalgarh wildlife sanctuary is the only sanctuary of Rajasthan, where wolves can be traced. During the summer season, visitor can find pack of wolves strolling near the water sources in this sanctuary. The birds you can see in this sanctuary are peacocks and doves, parakeets,  red spur owls, bulbuls, golden orioles, doves, grey pigeons and white breasted kingfishers.

    Its natural beauty encompasses the peaceful stretches of forests that see a great many species of flora and fauna. On this road, one can sight Chinkaras, Neelgais, four horned Antelope and many birds. Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary also enjoys a variety of flora including many trees and plants having herbal qualities. Foot tracking and horse safari organised by local tour operators are proving to be very popular.
