About Wildlife Sanctuary 

Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the leading tourist attractions in Kerala.Here you see the natural habitat of the Nilgiri Tahr. Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary houses half the world's population of this rare mountain goat. It is a part of the Eravik ulam Wildlife Sanctuary and visitors are allowed only to the tourism area in the Rajamala region. The total number of Nilgiri Tahrs in Rajamala is estimated at 1317. In this Wildlife Sanctuary you also see the panther, turtles, deer, elephant, spectacle cobras, gaur, deer, x lemurs, monkeys, antlers, Nilgai, python, leopard, macaque, sambar and many more.

Flora : Here you see the Neelakurinji. It is a beautiful flowers and one of the major attraction here. Neelakurinji flower is that it blooms only once in 12 years. Here you also see the medicinal plants, shrubs and herbs.

Best time to Visit : The best time to visit Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary is from October to March.
