Late Swami Chimayananda was founded Chinmaya Tapovan ashram. Swami Chinmayananda a great exponent of the Gita. In Chinmaya Tapovan ashram there is a Ram temple, a meditation hall, 9 m high image of Lord Hanuman and recreation or health center. Ashram complex has a mini forest of pine trees.
