About Dal Lake
A famous Lord Shiva temple is located on the bank of Dal Lake, which is considered to be very holy. In the month of September a annual fair is organised on the banks of Dal Lake and big number of the Gaddi tribe is attended this fair and tourists take dip in the holy water. It is believed that take a holy dip in Dal Lake then removes all the miseries and will be blessed by Lord Shiva.
