Guru Hargobind Sahib was the 6th Sikh Guru. Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib was arrested in the Fort of Gwalior by the order of Emperor Jahangir over two year. During the time of release of the guru, he desired the release of 52 Rajput Rulers from the prison of Emperor Jahangir.
Gurudwara built inside the Gwalior Fort and in year 1968, Gurudwara was constructed by Sant Baba Uttam Singh Ji, the successor of Sant Baba Gurmukh Singh, Sant Baba Sadhu Singh and Sant Baba Jhanda Singh of Kaar Sewa Khadur Sahib, Punjab.
