Scindia Museum is located in the Jai Vilas Palace and it is also known as Jivaji Rao Scindia Museum. This Museum was dedicated to Jivaji Rao Scindia. It is most popular tourist attractions that attract the many visitors through out the year. Jivaji Rao Scindia Museum is a memorial to this legendary genius.
In year 1964, Scindia Museum or Jivaji Rao Scindia Museum was established by private trust. The museum is known for its wide collection of antiques and artefacts including weapons, manuscripts, bronzes, miniature paintings, sculpture and coins and other items. Here you see the Persian carpets, crystal ornaments, Malabar and Madurai woodwork, Chinese, Japanese and European art and curios.
Timing to visit the Museum : You can visit the Museum between 9 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm (Tuesday - Sunday)
