About Wildlife Parks Manali

It is located about 2 Kms away from the Manali town. In year 1954 Manali Wildlife Parks and Manali Sanctuary came into existence, under the Punjab Birds and Wild Animals Protection Act, 1933. This Sanctuary covers a land area of about 3180 hectares land.

Main Attraction of this Sanctuary is Himalayan Black Bear, Stripped Hyena, Flying Fox, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr and Kashmir Flying Squirrels. Tourist can enjoy the sight of Leopards, Brown Bears and Goral playing around. Here you can see many Serows, Himalayan Yellow Throated Martens. In Wildlife Parks Manali you can see the Flying Fox, Indian Hare, Barking Deer and Palm Civet.
