Achalgarh Fort is famous and beautiful medieval monuments.In year 1452 Achalgarh Fort was originally built by the Paramara dynasty rulers. Maharana Kumbha was reconstructed and renovated this fort. He was well known for his artistic tastes and this fort truly is a beauty to behold. First gate of the fort is known as Hanumanpol, it is used to entrance to the lower fort. After some ascent, stands Champapol, the second gate of the fort, which used to entrance to the inner fort.

This Fort is is surrounded by massive battlement walls and has a very imposing look. In the fort there are many temples.These temples are famous for their amazing sculptures. From the AchalGarh, after 10 minute climb you to the beautiful and historic Jain Temples. Among these temples, the Kantinath Jain Temple is the best as it offers a great sight. These temples were built in 1513 CE. Another must visit temple can be found below the path. Achleshwar temple is famous for containing a Nandi which is said to be made of 5 metals, fold, silver, copper, brass and zinc. If legends are to be believed then the temple was built around the footmarks of Lord Shiva in the 9th century. Several idols have been sculpted within the temple.
