For the common public, Geeta Bhawan is dedicated as a Museum for puranic and mythological awareness. Geeta Bhawan consists of a very large complex comprising recitation halls and over 1000 rooms available free of charge for the stay of devotees. In Gita Bhavan you see many paintings and statues of characters from Hindu Mythology. Geeta Bhawan walls describe the great Indian epics Ramayana and Mahabharata.

In Geeta Bhawan there is also include the painting of Gita Sandesh. In this painting you see the Lord Krishna and the great Pandava Warrior Arjuna in a Chariot in the Kurukshetra War field.

Geeta Bhawan also has a Ayurvedic department where medicines are prepared according to scriptures from Himalayan herbs using Ganges water. In Geeta Bhawan complex you see the ancient Banyan tree. A large number of devotees visit and stay here for holy Ganges dip, listening to discourses and sadhana & meditation. There are 2 well-built bathing-ghats in front of Gita Bhawan 1 and 3 have facilities providing both young and old devotees.
