Snow View Point offers a chance to see the snow laden ranges of Himalayas. Snow View point is situated on top of the Sher-ka-danda ridge. It is one of the most visited tourist spots of the town. A cable car ride or a ropeway is the most excellent way to reach this point. When you are used to ropeway to reach Snow View Point you even get an aerial view of the entire town below and the watch yourself ascending through the mighty mountains. When you see at the top then you see the breathtaking views of snow capped mountains. Here is a small temple that is dedicated to Dev Mundi.

During the months of October and November, a large number of tourist visit the Snow View Point. At this time it provide the spectacular view of the snow bound mountains.

Facility : Atop this hill, tea, snacks and other refreshments are also available. This point has numerous small souvenir shops.

The ropeway is one of the major attractions of Nainital and that is the reason why tourist went up to the Snow View Point via the rope way.
