Nainital Zoo is also known as Bharat Ratna Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant High Altitude Zoo Nainital. Nainital Zoo is stand an altitude of 2100 m. above sea level. In this you see the Snow Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Himalayan Black Bear, Rose ringed Parakeet, Barking Deer, Silver Pheasants, Palm Civet Cat, Wolf, Ghoral, Sambhar Deer, Hill Fox, Owl, Eagle and many rare Himalayan birds.
Nainital zoo is small but very graceful and has a natural and also a delectable environment. Zoo provides a safe and secure habitat to many high altitude animals.
Timing to Visit
You can visit the Zoo from 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The zoo remains closed for visitors on Monday, all national holidays
