Tata Tea Museum is a well-known tourist spot and it is situated in Munnar of Kerala state.

Tata Tea Museum set up at Munnar showcases and highlights some of the finest and charming aspects which took place during the development and growth of tea plantations in this part of Kerala. Munnar is home to a few of the World’s best tea estates. Most of the people in Munnar are employed at tea plantations. 

Tata Tea holds the place of World’s second manufacturer and distributor of tea. Tata Group's Kannan Devan Tea Estate own majority of tea plantations at Munnar.

History about Tata Tea Museum 

Tata Tea at Nallathanni Tea Estate in Munnar was opened the Tea Museum. The Tata Tea Museum diligently portrays the evolution of Munnar tea estates, veritably conveyed through some of the displays like the primordial tea roller to the contemporaneous fully automated tea factory. 

In Musume you see the TATA Tea Museum Munnar Antiques, Furniture during the English Era,  analogue telephones, Bathtub and accessories, Tea processing Unit etc. Here you also see some such as original tea roller, the 'Rotorvane,' dating back to 1905; the 'Pelton Wheel' used in the power generation plant that existed in the 1920s.  Another bizarre attraction at the museum is the presentation room for tea tasting where one can taste teas from distant parts of the world.

Timing to Visit : Visitor can visit the Tata Tea Museum 10.00 am - 5.00 pm. to tuesday to sunday. Monday is closed
