Gwalior Attraction : Sas-Bahu Temple Gwalior
Sas-bahu Temple or Sahastrabahu temple is 9th Century Temple and situated to the east of Gwalior Fort. This temples are not dedicated to Sas (mother-in-law) and Bahu (daughter-in-law) its name given to two adjacent temples of various sizes or it is a short form of Shashtra Bahu, a different name of Lord Vishnu.

In year 1092, King Mahipala of the Kachchhapaghata (Kachchhwaha) dynasty was buit this temple. This temple is 32mt long and 22mt is its breath. Pillars of the temple are magnificently carved with great architectural skills. Entrance of this temple is gives the view of the Indian Trinity, Lord Brahma. The roof of the larger temple is ornamented with a marvelous lotus carving which is very fascinating. This temple has 3 entrances from three various direction and temple is carved with wonderful carvings.
Sasbahu Temple at Gwalior has a magnificent view at the doorways that introduce about the Hindu Trinity-Indian Tridev-The creator God Brahma.
