About Chattri Bagh
Chattris are the regional name given to domed structures built as memorials at the cremation sites of the significant rulers of the region. This place is portrayed by a group of 'chattris' or memorial canopies, dedicated to the erstwhile Holkar rulers and their family members. Each chhatri is built on the burial site of the Holkar king or queen. Chhatri generally comprises a dome designed with pyramidal spires on top.
The most prominent structure is Malhar Rao Holker, who was the founder of the Holker dynasty
